Safety First.

It is the goal of Preston Construction to complete all projects skillfully, on time, within budget, and without jeopardizing the health and well-being of the team or the general public.  The pursuit of this goal is realized by making safety management a core value.

“ Preston’s employees were always courteous and respective to any of our members when they interacted with them.” We were very pleased with the neatness they left each day especially on the weekdays and weekends when church activities were being held. The construction area was always boarded to allow for safety for church members and employees as the progress on the site was completed.”
— Mike Freeman, Project Overseer, Marvin's Chapel Methodist Church

Preston Construction is a Tennessee Drug Free Workplace.  Every employee must undergo yearly Drug Free Training, and supervisors must undergo additional training to recognize signs of drug abuse.

All employees are required to have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug test.  Employees who work in the field also undergo a TBI Background Check.  Upon hiring, we train all employees in proper safety rules and procedures.  Employees then receive weekly Safety Talks on topics relevant to the work they are performing, and additional one-on-one training when new equipment is introduced or special conditions are present.

While on a job site, employees wear identification badges containing their name and the Preston Construction logo.

We pride ourselves on the fact that there has been very little time lost due to accidents and no loss of life.
